02 Dec 09 Ajax Shoutbox, no new life.
I know I wrote some time ago a post about that the Ajax Shoutbox gets a new life
This did happen a few days after that post. Badly enough for a lot users there were some users who werent able to follow the instructions I gave to receive support or to report bugs, and even after a few days the topic at phpBB.com was a mess.
Due to this, I decided at that moment that I again stopped the MOD, and that iam not going to publish it anymore in the feature. The MOD will, in the form of how it was, not come back again. It will not be published nor support will be given.
Posting a comment about when support starts again or where you can find the download will not help. I will not provide a download link nor provide support for it. This is caused by the few users who werent able to read what I wrote and just did what they thought was good.
Sorry all.
To give at least a very very very small bit of hope. For a current new site iam currently busy with a complete rewrite of it, and maybe maybe maybe I might publish that brand new version. Hower, iam not going to make anyone more happy as it looks like, so don’t expect that it happens, untill it actually did happen!

22 Mar 09 Ajax shoutbox, a new life?
A lot people know regarding my AJAX shoutbox MOD. Beside’s that it was very popular within the community there were also several problems with it.
The main problem, for me at least, was the user. Why? They didnt read the topics. They didnt read the support topics, while in a lot cases the answer was there. Because of that the support topics where getting huge, and people started to get angry. At a moment I decided to stop with it.
Currently iam thinking of starting with this MOD again. Ofcourse I still have the source code (Even if I said to several people that I didnt have it anymore!). Iam only not sure how to set up the support for the MOD itself. Doing it at a single topic at phpBB.com will instantly means a large failure, so that will not work. So iam thinking of setting up a seperate board for it so I can use that.
Hopefully more on this soon 
But now the question. What features does the MOD need to have? It already had some really nice features, but I still think it need some more. Good stuff to think about .
21 Dec 08 holiday plans
Yes, its finally holiday (And a long time ago I didnt write anything real here), and I hope I finally have some free time to do some stuff I planned for some time already.
Since last April iam already busy with the new style for “Het Gamehuis”, what is custom made for us. The only thing we needed to do was making from a sliced PSD a real phpBB3 style. Iam currently (Actually since April) busy with this, and its getting nice .
But it still need to be finished, so this is something I really want to do this holiday completely .
Besides that I will try to find llook into Debian Lenny (Whats hopefully soon to be released) with Xen. This will be used later possible for some new things hosthuis might going to use. This is already on my todo list for some time, and hopefully I will be able to do this now.
It at least need to be done before around May .
Hopefully my old PIII will be good enough to do my tests on
After that I also need some school stuff, like learning for a test again. The first monday after my holidays I need to my math test again, as I failed for my first try. So I need to learn pretty much for that 
.
So I at least have enough things to do .

12 Jul 08 Een post hier weer
Ja,ik post hier maar weer eens.
Het is ondertussen een aantal maanden geleden dat ik hier voor het laaste gepost hebt.
Dit komt voornamelijk doordat de afgelopen maanden stage heb gelopen, hiermee ben ik nu klaar en afgelopen week heb ik officieel me MBO diploma behaald.
Nu tijd voor volgend jaar, vanaf september ga ik beginnen met een HBO opleiding. Voor mijzelf een erg grote stap.
Naaste deze op nieuwe school il ik voor mijzelf een aantal dingen gaan veranderen.
Wat betekent dit?
Best veel eigenlijk. Het komt er op neer dat ik ga stoppen met phpBB. Dit besluit heb ik eigenlijk al een paar maanden geleden genomen.
Waarom? Vrij simpel. Momenteel besteed ik ongeveer per week rond de 60 uur aan phpBB (op dagen dat ik fulltime werkten.), en nu ik vrij ben rond de 12 uur per dag. Dit betekent dus dat ik eigenlijk met niks anders bezig ben, en ik wil ook tijd voor andere dingen gaan doen.
Je zal me dus minder vaak op phpBB.com of phpBB.nl zien (Ik zal soms is langskomen), en ook niet meer als teammember later dit jaar. Momenteel doe ik al minder taken op phpBB.com, en later dit jaar stop ik compleet daarmee.
Verder ga ik volgende week naar de eerste phpBB meeting, londonvasion in London. Voor degene die nog niet geregistreerd hebben, het kan nog steeds. Er is nog plek zat!
